Yummy Banana, Chocolate Chip & Peanut Dessert

Getting back into the swing of Works for Me Wednesday, this is really a very basic combination, but it has gotten to be one of my favorite healthy desserts.

One medium banana
12 semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 whole dry roasted peanuts

Cut the banana in 12 slices put one chocolate chip on top of each slice. Microwave for 30 seconds (or until chips just start to soften). Take out of microwave and add one peanut to each slice.

It is such a basic combination but once it is warm with the melty chocolate it tastes like a pretty decadent dessert. My best estimation of the nutritional value is:
