Late July Organic Cookies & Crackers - Review & Giveaway

I would like to introduce you to Late July, an organic snack company offering certified USDA organic crackers and cookies.  They are family owned and operated and believe in the principles of family, the integrity of their products and the environment. I had heard good things about Late July and was very excited to sample their products for myself.   Much to my pleasure, Late July sent me a selection of their products to sample and share my thoughts with you.

My absolute #1 favorite are the Organic Cheddar Cheese Sandwich Crackers. They are made up of a crispy, buttery tasting classic cracker with a creamy filling inside that actually tastes like real cheese....because it is! It's nothing like those fake cheese crackers that have something orange in between the crackers, but it doesn't really smell, look or taste like actual cheese. These are delicious! I guess I am a cheese fanatic, because I also loved the Bite Size Cheddar Cheese Crackers. Again they are super crispy and cheesy tasting. One taste of these and you will definitely never touch a cheezit again!  The Organic Peanut butter Sandwich Crackers have the same amazing cracker and are filled with creamy, smooth peanut butter. They will definitely be on my shopping list as well.

The one product for which I have a mixed review is the new Mini Sandwich Cookies. The first item I had tested were the Mini White Chocolate Sandwich Cookies. I frankly hated them and my husband had an even a worse reaction. But (and I think this is important since they are a kid-geared snack) my 22-month-old nephew LOVED them. After he gobbled a few down the first time he was frequently saying "cookie" and if you tried to satisfy him with a homemade cookie... that was NOT happening. To him the Mini White Chocolate Sandwich Cookies were the only acceptable option. Although I'm not personally a fan of the Mini White Chocolate flavor, I do like the Mini Milk Chocolate Sandwich Cookies - they are quite tasty! Another plus - - Both flavors of Mini Sandwich Cookies feature seven different endangered animals on the cookies and 10% of the profits go to the Jane Goodall Institute to help with their efforts in endangered animal awareness.

I am a new fan of Late July.  It's great to have tasty cookies and crackers with ingredients that make you feel comfortable that you are safeguarding the health of your family and the environment.
