The Smoothie Wars Have Begun! - McDonald's vs. Jamba Juice

McDonald's has recently undertaken a big push of their new fruit smoothies in two flavors:  strawberry banana and wild berry.  They have been promoting with heavy advertising and coupons, including coupons in store and in newspapers to try a smoothie for free.

Jamba Juice isn't taking the new combination lying down and have declared it to be "The Great Smoothie Showdown".  To make their case, they are accepting all McDonald's smoothie coupons (including free coupons) in select metro areas, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Denver, Chicago, New York and Miami. If you don't already have a McDonald's coupon, they are also offering a printable coupon for $1 off any one Jamba Juice smoothie on their web site.
