Recycle Your #5 Plastics with Preserve

I have some good news. If your local recycling program doesn't allow you to recycle #5 plastics (yogurt cartons, sour cream containers, etc.) you can now recycle them through Preserve! They also accept used Brita water filters. You can either bring them to Whole Foods for recycling (Check here for locations) or, if you can't get to Whole Foods, you can collect them and send them by mail. Find all the details here.

I'm so happy to be able to recycle these now! I always had to think twice about whether or not I should buy yogurt because it kills me to throw those containers in the trash! Now I can just save them all up and bring them to Whole Foods when I visit my sister.
